Most frequent questions and answers

Once you’ve decided that you’d like to come on the Retreat, click on “Book Your Place Now”. Here you will be asked to answer a few questions and you’ll be sent a brochure with the full details. If you want, we can have a call, otherwise I will send you details to pay your deposit. We’ll stay in touch as I make the final touches to the trip!

The retreat will be conducted in English, but I’m also fluent in Italian. Women of all nationalities are warmly welcome, and the more nationalities, the better! This is a perfect chance to dive into four days of total English immersion—just imagine how much your English will improve!

Although we are on a relaxing holiday, we start every day at 07.00 – feel energized, enjoy the fresh air and silence of the morning, get into a healthy lifestyle exercising in the mornings.

How are the bedrooms allocated? The cost of the trip varies based on the different bedroom options available. You can choose from private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, twin rooms with en-suites, or rooms that share a bathroom with 1 or 2 other women. The form you fill out will ask for your preferences so we can do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs and ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Please be aware that although you can ‘sit-out’ on an experience, we will first try to encourage you to come along with us – most people are a little nervous or think they feel a little tired, but having gone through the motion or experience, they do not look back. Afterall, the price of the retreat includes all activities, so you’d be mad not to try! Of course, if you know yourself, you must also listen to your body and we completely respect that – no judgements at all!

At this running retreat, we’ll be covering some running trails that contain both white pebbled roads, tarmac and uneven surface trails. On top of that, to find a good view, you’ve guessed it, it’s going to be at the top of a hill – so prepare to achieve 500m + per day of hills. We take this easy, some want to run and some are happy to walk it – take it at your own pace. We will ensure no one is left behind. You need to ensure that you are comfortable and open to trying all different terrains.

In Tuscany, the rich tradition of raising livestock and cultivating crops is deeply embedded in the local culture. You’ll witness this firsthand during your stay on a pig farm. Here, the pigs enjoy a high standard of care and a good life for 2-3 years before they are used for food. While we will make every effort to accommodate dietary preferences, please note that Italy, particularly in rural areas, does not offer the extensive range of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options found in places like the UK or Germany.

Absolutely, you’re more than welcome to bring a friend! Many folks come on their own, but bringing a friend is a fantastic idea. As long as you’re both open to mingling with everyone, we’d love to have you. Just let us know on the form that you’re friends, and we’ll make sure you’re placed in the same room. Looking forward to seeing you both!

Reliable companies like Multitrip.com offer excellent coverage at reasonable rates, typically around £/€ 10 – 20 for 7 days. Don’t take the risk—secure your peace of mind!

We encourage you to refrain from smoking during the retreat to align with our focus on a healthy lifestyle. If you must smoke, please use the designated smoking area, away from food and social spaces, to respect other participants.
