My Triathlon Journey
Where It All Began
When I first started my triathlon journey, I quickly realised there was so much more to it than just swimming, biking, and running. It felt exciting—but also totally overwhelming. I had so many questions and hardly any answers.
Lost and Unsure
I didn’t know where to start, or who to ask for advice. What do you wear on race day? How do transitions work between the sports? What gear do I really need? It was all new to me, and honestly—it made me anxious being in the unknown. Even worse, there were things I didn’t know I needed to research until race day arrived… and by then, I had to learn the hard way!
The Turning Point
But then—I crossed the finish line of my first triathlon. And that was it. I was hooked. Since that moment, I’ve never looked back. Triathlon became more than a sport for me—it became a lifestyle. It gave me confidence, a new way of thinking, and goals I’d never dreamed of. It even introduced me to a whole new community of amazing friends.
What I’ve Learned
Over the years, I’ve completed more than 50 Sprint and Olympic-distance races, and even finished two Half Ironmans. Along the way, I picked up valuable lessons from every race, every mistake, every coach, and every bit of research. I learned the subtle, powerful habits that make a huge difference—not just in performance, but in staying healthy, motivated, and injury-free. I discovered how to train smart, not just hard.
Why I Created This
And here’s the thing: I realised I wasn’t alone. So many other new triathletes were struggling with the exact same things I did—confused, overwhelmed, and making preventable mistakes that held them back. That’s why I created this. To pass on what I’ve learned. To help more women feel strong, empowered, and excited as they train. And to show you that triathlon doesn’t have to be intimidating—it can be fun, fulfilling, and completely life-changing.

Swim Secrets!
In triathlon, the swim leg is often where most beginners struggle. But with this insider knowledge, you’ll understand what is right for you at this time and what is practically achievable in the weeks ahead so you can turn up to your first race super confident and excited! psst. the swim is not to take light-heartedly…even for those who consider themselves ‘swimmers’!
- Races can take place in the swimming pool, lake, river or sea! Let's untap these different options and the challenges they each bring - from the good, bad and the...fantastics!
- The challenges yet true magic of open water swimming as I take you through what to expect, how to stay safe and what equipment you'll need (including swim-specific wetsuits!)
- Your race experience is going to rely a lot on the swim leg of the race. There are TONS of factors to consider, and this is where we get into the nitty gritty of what is possible.
- From crowd starts, to single starts. From jumping in to running in. There's a huge variety of race starts, so let's figure out which start is going to work best for you.

Week 4 - 3 short videos

By this stage you’ll have ALL the knowledge you need to make the right race choices for you. You’ll be SO excited to get going and make this challenge a reality, so I’ll be here to make this happen with you. We’re all in this together, so feel a huge sense of excitement and support as you are given the resources to find your race and tricks to stay motivated and accountable. Pannic not, I promise it’s possible to keep it simple and on a low budget! Don’t be threatened by what you think you need…here we reveal the suprising truth about what the essentials really are to get you set up for both training and ready for race day.

- What bike equipment you'll need to train and race with. Every race organisation is different - so it's always important to read the race rules to be 100% sure what you can/can't use.
