10 years ago I started on my Triathlon journey. I realised there was so much to learn and so many unanswered questions other than just training for 3 sports…

But at the same time, I had no idea where to start. I didn’t know who to go to for advice. What should I wear during the race? How do I change between each sport? I just had no idea. It made me anxious being in the unknown. Then there were things that I didn’t even think to research but soon discovered during race day…the hard way!

But since the day I finished my first race, I have never looked back. Triathlon has become part of my life and not only does it give me huge satisfaction, but it has also made me think in a new way, change my way of life, set myself exciting challenges and I have a bunch of new friends from it too!

Having completed over 30 triathlon Sprint and Olympic races and finished 2 half Ironman races, I’ve developed my habits as I learn more and more from each race, from my coach and through the research I do. And through it all, I’ve discovered the subtle nuances that make a BIG difference in the success of training and developing a sustainable lifestyle that makes you thrive rather than overtraining or getting injured.

Along the way, I discovered that so many other new triathletes have the same questions and problems that I had and were adopting the wrong training and mindset to enable them to improve. These were all the things that I previously did when I first started out. So now, it’s time to spread the love of this sport to as many people as possible sharing the knowledge and lessons I have learnt with others to educate, motivate and empower women to try triathlon and ultimately fulfill their goals.
